The 36th National Narrow Gauge Convention will take place September 7-10 in Augusta, Maine – a classic narrow gauge convention in a very special place.

And we are proud to be co-sponsored by the Seacoast Division of the National Model Railroad Association.

The convention will be held in the Augusta Civic Center, the largest convention facility in Maine. Parking is free and the building is handicap-accessible. Click here to find nearby hotels offering special, low convention rates.

You can expect all the familiar and fabulous features of a narrow gauge convention: clinics on narrow gauge prototypes and modeling from across the country, great contest models, a full vendor’s room, over a dozen modular layouts, and more.

You’ll note from the schedule that numerous home layout and prototype tours will take place both throughout the convention and on the days  immediately before and after, so we’ll send regular updates on these after you register for the convention.

Don’t forget to check travel and hotel information, and do take a look at all the other things there are to do when you visit Maine.
